Summer has finally arrived in Utrecht and the city is slowing down and getting quiet. If you are not stuck in traffic for the summer holidays, you can come to us for a yoga class all summer long. Whether you stay home or want to join online from your holiday location: find that perfect balance between relaxation and exertion. We have adjusted our schedule a bit. Check out the adjusted schedule and sign up for the classes that best fit your summer plans.

Maybe you’re (like us) feeling Olympic-y, and want to read an optimistic story that will raise your yoga motivation to new heights? Then click here for a real-life fairy tale about how a graying forty-something with painful knees still managed to play tennis at the Games.

In a few days, we’re enthusiastically anticpating Tally’s company again. You will see her name on the schedule in classes in the studio, but you can also still sign up for her workshop at the end of August! Furthermore, the Early Bird discount for Garth McLean is valid until August 1st, so don’t forget to book today!

And we have more fun things planned, so take a look below or on the website.

Starting next year, we will be presenting a new course program: instead of separate class days, the teachers will now offer weekends, each with a specific theme. These thematic weekends offer you the chance to delve deeper into different aspects of yoga and have a more structured and coherent experience. Click here for the program and more information. Did you know that Ahmed doesn’t just do yoga? He has been running (ultra)marathons and triathlons for a long time. This picture shows just a small part of his collection of ’trophy shirts’! If you know, you know… He started his marathon career in 1999 and has experienced most common running injuries.

The addition of yoga to his training schedule resulted in running with less effort and far fewer injuries.

On September 7, he will share his experience about the benefits of combining yoga and running in a second edition of his ‘Masterclass’. Click here for more info.

It’s still a while away, but we wanted to let you know ahead of time that Eyal Shifroni will be back in March 2025.
This time, he will focus on a special kind of prop: the ropes!

Yoga Kurunta, or rope yoga, integrates traditional Iyengar yoga principles with the use of ropes to enhance and support your practice. This distinctive method provides a range of benefits, such as improved alignment, greater flexibility, and increased strength.

During this weekend workshop, Eyal will guide you through various techniques using the yoga rope wall, demonstrating how this tool can be both invigorating and restorative.

Eyal Shifroni teaches all over the world. And we understand why people love his teaching so much. We have really enjoyed his gentle, refined and joyful teaching on his previous visits to Utrecht. So set aside this time for yourself to discover ways to deepen your practice and find inspiration. It’s a wonderful opportunity!
