Yoga Kurunta

Defy gravity – get stretched out, and gain insight to poses through new ways of experiencing them with the use of ropes.

In this class we will practice familiar asanas as well as new ones using the wall ropes. Wall ropes are used to make us more aware of alignment, help us open areas of the body that are otherwise hard to reach, and support us in poses that can be hard to perform like backbends or inversions. We will practice asanas from most asana groups to get a better understanding, go deeper in the pose while hanging in various ways on and from the wall, and will do both active and restorative poses.The class is suitable for all level of practice. Minimum of 3 months Iyengar yoga practice is recommended.
