Eyal Shifroni

Eyal Shifroni

We are happy to announce that Eyal Shifroni will be back at iYoga Utrecht in 2019 with a workshop centered around the Vayus, the subtle streams of energy (Praņa) throughout our bodies.

Iyengar Yoga is widely known for its precision and attention to detail in alignment. This is a powerful method for achieving physical wellness, but also a method to direct energy (praņa) and awareness (prajña) throughout the body. The use of props in Iyengar Yoga helps to achieve alignment on all planes of our being. Through the props we can experience different facets of ourselves.

In this workshop, Eyal will show us ways of using props to improve the distribution of energy, so we can increase our awareness of various directions of energy in our body, mind and spirit in order to deepen and enhance the understanding of them.

Eyal Shifroni is a senior Iyengar Yoga teacher practicing since 1978 and teaching Iyengar Yoga since 1985. Eyal directs the “Iyengar Yoga Center of Zichron-Ya’akov” in Israel and conducts Yoga workshops in Israel and around the world. He is the author of A Chair for Yoga, Props for Yoga Volumes I to III and The Psychophysical Lab (coming out in Nov 2018).
