The way autumn has presented itself over the past few days, it’s easy to love. Leaves starting to change color, an abundance of acorns and chestnuts, the first bowl of pumpkin soup, all bathed in sunshine. The warm scarf more of a nice accessory than a necessity. But we all know this can’t and won’t last. It’s tempting to grumble about the shorter days, the rain, and the fact that summer is over and time is constantly marching on.Zoals de herfst zich de afgelopen dagen presenteerde, is het niet moeilijk om ervan te genieten.
Patañjali writes in the Yoga Sūtras (II.33–34) that when unhealthy or troublesome thoughts arise, we can develop an opposite thought. After all, negative thoughts only breed more unrest and ignorance. So you can realize that it is precisely in this changing of the seasons that you can also find stability: the opportunity to turn inward and recharge.
We’re doing our best to offer you some inspiration and support: it’s warm inside, there are new classes and workshops to look forward to – and during Savasana, you can put on your cozy socks again. And for a little extra warmth and coziness, we have a new wall hanging by the front door: the friendly wolf by Bob Mollema. He reminds us of Toby a lot :)
What's in store?
Starting this month there’s a nieuwe dynamische yogales op zondag – with Eeke. And on Mondays a new community class on donation base will star – with Loraine. Come join and bring a friend, or try something new yourself.
We also start the In-depth Course again. There are still places, and you can also join later in the year for a single weekend.
