Garth McLean has been visiting iYoga Utrecht since 2014 and he we are very happy that he will be back again in Utrecht this September. In a 3-day workshop he will address ways in which yoga can help to support the needs of our nervous system.

The workshop is open to everyone but will be especially great for:

→ people with multiple sclerosis who want to try yoga – perhaps for the first time;

→ people with other conditions that impact the nervous system, ranging from Parkinson’s, post-stroke or long Covid to burnout and the effects of long-term stress in daily life;

→ those who already practice yoga and want to learn more about how to take care of themselves in changing circumstances;

→ those who want to make yoga a part of daily life;

→ and also for teachers/therapists who work with patients facing conditions that impact the nervous system.

Explore a step-by-step adaptive approach towards a variety of asanas that can benefit and address your needs. Learning this approach may benefit you now – but it may also help you in the future when your needs may have changed! Yoga is not just relevant when we are healthy and able-bodied. But learning to take care of ourselves no matter the circumstances is much easier in the times when that comes easily.
